DESCRIPTION:<p>Free admission.&nbsp; For more information call 310.618.2378 or visit <a href="http://www.TorranceCA.Gov">www.TorranceCA.Gov</a>. </p><p>Due to changes in politics and the advent of Protestantism, religious art changed radically.&nbsp; We begin with a comparison of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel from its Renaissance style, to the new Mannerist School of Art.&nbsp; Mannerism, also known as Late Renaissance, is a European art style that emerged in the later years of the Italian High Renaissance, circa 1520, lasting until the end of the 16<sup>th</sup> century in Italy, when the Baroque style began to replace it. </p>
