Hiroya is a one-of-a-kind composer, guitarist, and singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan. He began playing the five-strong banjo when he was 13 years old, and took up the guitar shortly thereafter. The rest, as they say, is history. In 2000, Hiroya received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, which brought him to the United States.
