DESCRIPTION:<p>The Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation presents from their Guest Artists Series: <b>DIVAS IN DANGER </b>in the George Nakano Theatre, 3330 Civic Center Drive.</p><p>Tickets are $50/$33.&nbsp; Call the Theatre Box Office at 310.781.7171.&nbsp; For more information access <a href="http://www.torrancearts.org">www.torrancearts.org</a>.</p><p>Three women.&nbsp; Three short true tales of adventure and courage.&nbsp; Each story has been a one-woman show in the past.&nbsp; “Divas in Danger” emphasizes change and unstoppable courage, expressed with humor and drama:</p><p>Actress/author Debra Ehrhardt knows “Jamaica Farewell” is more than a song.&nbsp; With the unwitting help of a CIA agent, she risked her life escaping Jamaica during a violent revolution and she fulfilled her dream of coming to America.</p><p>Actress/author Brenda Adelman’s father shot and killed her mother, and then he quickly took a new bride – her mother’s sister.&nbsp; Her life lesson was to forgive the unforgivable.</p><p>On a less dramatic scale, although equally shocking, author/storyteller Mariana Williams undergoes budget plastic surgery – with a doctor practicing out of his suburban home in Park City, Utah.</p>
