SUMMARY:Morning Movies: The Englishman Who Went up a Hill but Came down a Mountain
DESCRIPTION:Two English cartographers (Hugh Grant and Ian McNiece) visit the small South Wales village of Ffynnon Garw, to measure what is claimed to be the "first mountain inside of Wales". Not to be outwitted by a rule, the villagers set out to make their hill into a mountain, but to do so they must keep the English from leaving before the job is done. (Directed by Christopher Monger, PG, 99 minutes). This program is free, sponsored by the Friends and of the Torrance Library, and no registration is required. For more information, please call the Reference Department at 310-781-7599.
