DESCRIPTION:The 3rd Annual Torrance Senior Health Fair brings together a variety of vendors - including the Torrance Public Library, Torrance city services, hospitals, the fire and police departments, and community organizations from around the City of Torrance - to provide resources for older adults for falls prevention.  These resources may include, but are not limited to: health screenings, free falls prevention classes in Torrance, and information about resources for things like home modifications and assistive devices.  This event is held in conjunction with the nationally-recognized Falls Prevention Awareness Day, which is recognized in the City of Torrance for a full week in September.
