SUMMARY:Virtual Webinar for the Enhanced Watershed Management Programs
DESCRIPTION:<p>The Beach Cities Enhanced Watershed Management Program is a collaborative effort between the Beach Cities Watershed Management Group (comprised of the cities of Torrance, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach, and the Los Angeles County Flood Control District) to improve storm water quality, water supply and to reduce localized flooding for the Santa Monica Bay and the Dominguez Channel watershed areas.</p><p> The Machado Lake Enhanced Watershed Management Program is specifically developed for the City of Torrance to address storm water quality within the Machado Lake watershed area of the city. This program will also look to reduce storm water runoff pollutants that are collected during wet weather and dry weather seasons. </p><p>Several regional projects are being conceptualized for each of the Beach Cities. Your engagement will be greatly appreciated as we look to develop these projects. Please attend this community event and share your thoughts with us!&nbsp;</p><p>City staff and project team members will be present to discuss project information and to answer any questions.
