SUMMARY:WMoF Celebrity Series: Wildcat vs. Zero. Setting the Record Straight
DESCRIPTION:As a Naval aviator, Marc Liebman was a combat veteran of Vietnam and Desert Shield/Storm and flew helicopters on combat search and rescue, special operations missions, anti-submarine warfare and logistics support missions.

During Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Marc had responsibility for the operational tasking and employment of 140 helicopters from 14 nations as well as special operations forces assigned to the Persian Gulf Battle Force.

So with all this experience who better to tell us the pros and cons of military aircraft specifically the Japanese Zero Fighter Planes which supposedly ruled the Pacific skies. In fact, the F4F Wildcat, the F4U Corsair and F6F Hellcat had major technological improvements.

Well-trained Navy and Marine aviators racked up a very favorable win/loss record against the Zero. Captain Marc Liebman will describe the relative weaknesses of the Wildcat and explain how it still proved to be the superior weapon system.
