It was the first book to tell Americans that camping was a form of recreation, where one could escape the worst aspects of modern life to find refreshment and renewal.&nbsp; </p><p>Please join Professor Terence Young for an illustrated talk about the Reverend Murray, his book, and several disputes spawned by this flood of new campers.
