DESCRIPTION:<p>Dear Faith Leaders and Friends,</p><p>As a reminder, please RSVP&nbsp;<a href="https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0ldOuoqjMoHNEArTVZq1b3kKBmApAFpDUC" target="_blank">at this link</a>&nbsp;for our upcoming Torrance Faith Homelessness Collaborative meeting being held next&nbsp;<b>Thursday, October 27th from 3:00-4:00 pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;</b>Please feel free to share this link with your staff and lay leaders!</p><p>Because we meet toward the end of the month, this will be our last meeting in 2022.&nbsp;&nbsp; We want to highlight some ways in which you can help us bring the spirit of the December holidays to our Village residents.</p><p>And as mentioned previously, we want to hear about the ways in which your congregation supports our unhoused neighbors. This might include:</p><ul type="disc">    <li>Feeding programs, grocery giveaways</li>    <li>Clothing "closets"&nbsp;</li>    <li>Gift cards or cash assistance provided (e.g., for fast food, groceries, etc.)</li>    <li>Respite daytime stays, overnight stays, short motel stays, overnight parking</li>    <li>Other items collected or handmade (e.g., quilts, prayer shawls, etc.)</li>    <li>Showers or other support</li>    <li>Annual drives to collect items or raise funds (e.g., hunger walks) and to raise awareness</li>    <li>Financial support to local South Bay or LA County nonprofits that serve the marginalized</li>    <li>Spiritual&nbsp;counseling, companionship programs</li>    <li>Prayer ministries</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you're not able to make it and do have ministries that support those experiencing homelessness, please email Nancy Wilcox at <a href="mailto:&#78;&#97;&#110;&#99;&#121;&#87;&#105;&#108;&#99;&#111;&#120;777&#64;&#103;&#109;&#97;&#105;&#108;&#46;&#99;&#111;&#109;">NancyWilcox777@gmail.com</a></p>
