South Coast AQMD staff invites you to attend the first Working Group Meeting for Proposed Amended Rule 1180 – Refinery Fenceline and Community Air Monitoring (PAR 1180). The Working Group Meeting will initiate the public process for the rule amendment and will provide stakeholders an opportunity to provide input. Staff is considering expanding the rule applicability, removing the 40,000 barrel per day exemption, and expanding the target compound list to reflect the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) Report – Analysis of Refinery Chemical Emissions and Health Effects published in March 2019.
