DESCRIPTION:The Requiem by Maurice Duruflé is one of the greatest choral works of the 20th century. Based on Gregorian themes and adorned with truly transcendent harmonies, the music transports you to an enchanted, ethereal place. As we conclude our 75th year, we find that the very composer we commissioned to celebrate our 50th is now our director. We will present a command performance of “Resounding Praise” and other delightful selections by Faure, Kean and Hagenberg in our program as well. General admission is $35, Students, $25.
