Bardlings: Exploring the World of Shakespeare
WHAT IS IT?: A fun and creative camp that brings Shakespeare’s stories to life!
WHAT WILL WE DO?: We’ll explore magical and adventurous scenes from Shakespeare’s plays through storytelling, games, movement, and acting.
WHAT WILL WE LEARN?: We’ll learn the basics of theatre and acting—like how to use our voices, bodies, and imaginations—while building confidence and having fun with Shakespeare’s language.
WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?: Each week, campers practice acting skills like character work, vocal projection, and stage presence, while building teamwork and listening skills.
WHO TEACHES IT?: An energetic and experienced teaching artist who makes Shakespeare exciting and easy to understand.
DO WE PERFORM?: Yes! Campers work together on fun, Shakespeare-inspired scenes during class.
IS THERE A FINAL SHOWCASE?: Yes! The camp ends with a lively showcase where campers perform for family and friends.
DATES: June 16-20, 2025
DAYS: Monday-Friday
TIME: 9 AM - 4 PM
AGES: 8-10 years
