Fractured Fairytales: Twisting The Classics
WHAT IS IT?: A draama camp where campers rewrite classic stories in funny, surprising, and creative ways.
WHAT WILL WE DO?: Campers will take familiar tales like Cinderella or the Three Little Pigs and twist them into something totally new using acting, improv, and writing.
WHAT WILL WE LEARN?: They’ll learn how to create characters with a twist, build funny scenes, explore comedic timing, and work together to create original scripts.
WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?: Think parody and imagination! From wolves who go vegan to Rapunzel with a hair salon, campers will turn fairytales upside down with their own ideas.
WHO TEACHES?: An experienced teaching artist guides campers through improv games, writing exercises, and scene building in a supportive environment.
DO WE PERFORM?: Yes! Campers will rehearse and perform their original fractured fairytales during the week.
IS THERE A FINAL SHOWCASE?: Yes! Family and friends are invited to a fun performance at the end of the week, full of laughs and unexpected twists.
DATES: July 14 - 18, 2025
DAYS: Monday-Friday
TIME: 9 AM - 4 PM
AGES: 11-14 years
