DESCRIPTION:<div><div><p>Torrance Theatre Company Summer Camps 2025&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Little Bards: An Introduction to Shakespeare</strong></p></div><div><p><strong>WHAT IS IT?:</strong> A fun and gentle drama camp that introduces the magical world of Shakespeare through play and imagination.<br><strong>WHAT WILL WE DO?: </strong>We’ll explore stories full of fairies, kings, queens, jesters, and animals! Campers will act, move, and play through simple versions of Shakespeare’s most exciting tales.<br><strong>WHAT WILL WE LEARN?: </strong>Campers will learn to express big emotions, use their voices, and create characters. They’ll also hear and play with Shakespeare’s language through fun songs, rhymes, and chants—no reading needed!<br><strong>WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?:</strong> Each day includes storytelling, theatre games, movement, and group activities that build creativity, confidence, and teamwork.<br><strong>WHO TEACHES?:</strong> A kind and experienced teaching artist helps campers explore theatre in a joyful, age-appropriate way.<br><strong>DO WE PERFORM?:</strong> Yes—but it’s all about fun and participation, not perfection.<br><strong>IS THERE A FINAL SHOWCASE?:</strong> Yes!
