DESCRIPTION:<div><div><p>Torrance Theatre Company Summer Camps 2025&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Face to Stage: Make-Up and Acting Camp</strong></p></div><div><p><strong>WHAT IS IT?:</strong> A creative camp that blends stage make-up and acting. Campers design characters with make-up and bring them to life through performance.<br><strong>WHAT WILL WE DO?: </strong>Each day includes hands-on make-up design (like aging effects, animals, and fantasy looks) plus acting, movement, and scene work.<br><strong>WHAT WILL WE LEARN?:</strong> Campers will learn the basics of theatrical make-up and explore how physical appearance connects to character and performance.<br><strong>WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?: </strong>Days are split between studio time for make-up and rehearsal time for acting and storytelling, giving campers a full theatre experience.<br><strong>WHO TEACHES?:</strong> An experienced artist and teaching performer leads both the make-up and acting sessions.<br><strong>DO WE PERFORM?: </strong>Yes! Campers will perform scenes as their fully designed characters.<br><strong>IS THERE A FINAL SHOWCASE?: </strong>Definitely!
