DESCRIPTION:<p>Torrance Theatre Company Summer Camps 2025</p><p><strong>Puppet Masters: Characters, Craft &amp; Creativity</strong></p><p><strong>WHAT IS IT?:</strong> A fun and creative camp where kids learn to build and perform with their own puppets.<br><strong>WHAT WILL WE DO?:</strong> We’ll design and create different types of puppets—like sock, stick, and shadow puppets—and bring them to life with acting, movement, and voice.<br><strong>WHAT WILL WE LEARN?: </strong>Campers will explore voice acting, puppet movement, character building, and storytelling while learning how to perform as puppeteers.<br><strong>WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?:</strong> Each day mixes hands-on puppet-making with performance practice and scene creation in a playful, supportive setting.<br><strong>WHO TEACHES?: </strong>A skilled teaching artist helps campers create, act, and perform with confidence and imagination.<br><strong>DO WE PERFORM?:</strong> Yes! Campers will rehearse fun scenes using their original puppet characters.<br><strong>IS THERE A FINAL SHOWCASE?:</strong> Yes!
