DESCRIPTION:<p>Torrance Theatre Company Summer Camps 2025</p><p><strong>The Puppet Lab: A Drama Camp for Curious Creators</strong></p><p><strong>WHAT IS IT?:</strong> A creative drama camp where campers explore puppetry through storytelling, design, and performance.<br><strong>WHAT WILL WE DO?: </strong>We’ll learn about puppets from around the world, design and build our own, and bring them to life with acting, movement, and voice.<br><strong>WHAT WILL WE LEARN?:</strong> Campers will discover how puppets work in theatre, create unique characters, and learn to perform with voice, expression, and creativity.<br><strong>WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?:</strong> Each day includes puppet-building, theatre games, and performance practice in a fun, hands-on environment.<br><strong>WHO TEACHES?: </strong>Experienced teaching artists guide campers through the full puppetry process—from design to performance.<br><strong>DO WE PERFORM?: </strong>Yes! Campers will create and rehearse original scenes using their handmade puppets.<br><strong>IS THERE A FINAL SHOWCASE?:</strong> Definitely!
