DESCRIPTION:Learn about disaster preparedness by enrolling in the Torrance  Fire Department's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) three-day training. The hands-on training is free of charge to Torrance residents and business  members over the age of 18. Participants will receive a certification of completion after undergoing a disaster simulation and learning about medical operations, fire suppression, light search and rescue, team organization, and more.  This is day two of training that begins Sept. 29 and will conclude Oct. 1. To sign up, call the Community Services Department at (310) 618-2720 or email enroll@torranceca.gov.
