DESCRIPTION:Torrance High School (THS) is celebrating 100 years with an event that will be music to your ears! To add to the festivities, the Torrance High Centennial Committee is hosting a special “Concert of the Century” featuring talented Tartar Alumni - including David Pack (www.davidpack.com), perhaps best known as the co-founder, singer, and guitarist of Ambrosia, who wrote and sang all of the timeless hits they produced in the 1970’s and 80’s. <br/>David will be performing his classic hits . . . <br/>Biggest Part of Me <br/>How Much I Feel <br/>You’re the Only Woman <br/>The concert will be led by THS alumni, and still best friends, Fred Beato and David Pack, performing songs from their recent album “BEATO BAND” (www.beatoband.com) featured on NBC news, CNN, and OC Register cover story. Joining them onstage will be alumnus, Tom Croucier, their former high-school band-mate. <br/><br/>The night will also include a tribute to Torrance High School’s own Symbols of Tyme, winners of the 1968 United States Battle of the Bands, whchincludes original lead singer Tom Croucier and a few other surprises! <br/>After nearly a year of blending the new with the old, the restoration project of the 800+ seat THS Auditorium is complete, and that is where this “Concert of the Century” will be held.  <br/>Tickets are $30, and are available for purchase online - www.TorranceHighCentennial.com<br/>Note: if you need a wheelchair access seat, please use promotion code “Wheelchair” to release available seating<br/>
