Runners and walkers are invited to register now through November 20 by mail, walk-in and online at www.TorranceCA.Gov/TurkeyTrot The fee is $30.
No registrations will be accepted on November 21.
Late registration will be walk-in only on Wednesday, November 22 at the Ken Miller Recreation Center at 3341 Torrance Blvd., from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Race Day from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. in the Sam's Club parking lot, 2601 Skypark Drive. The late registration fee will be $35.
All ages are welcome to participate, but no pets, skateboards, rollerblades or bicycles are allowed on the course. Participants will receive a commemorative shirt. There will be a spectacular post-run opportunity drawing with lots of great prizes.
This annual community event is a chance to visit with old and new friends alike on Thanksgiving morning. Participants are also encouraged to bring canned food for a special Thanksgiving Day Food Drive for those who can use a helping hand.
