DESCRIPTION:Most likely the most famous battle of WWII, a famous fighter plane (Supermarine Spitfire) and a former curator of Western Museum of Flight (WMoF) makes for a great talk.  Join us on Saturday, October 21st as former Northrup engineer and WMoF curator Lynn Jenson gives the highlights and lowdown on the Battle of Britain from 1940.  A battle that is still honored every year with RAF flyover.  Jenson, a 37-year Northrop Grumman employee, specialized in major weapon systems and integration including the B-2 stealth bomber, the YF-23 stealth fighter, and the F/A-18 Super Hornet strike fighter.  He will speak to the facts and the myths surrounding this legendary air battle, the men and women who fought it, and the remarkable story of the fighter that will stand for all time as its icon.<br/><br/>With admission to lecture you also receive free entry to the Museum and free parking.
