! In celebration of Women’s History Month, we will highlight 30 years of Dee Hardison’s community service for the City of Torrance with a program entitled – Musings from Madam Mayor. As only the second woman to ever serve as Mayor of Torrance, Dee has quite a story to tell. And . . . who best to tell that story than her two sons, Brad and Mark, and husband, Lowell. A video of our Mayor emeritus’ life will be running continuously throughout the day during this Open House-style event. Opening remarks will be given by Torrance City Manager, LeRoy Jackson at 2:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served – including Dee’s famous peanut brittle!
This event is free, and open to the public. No reservations are necessary, but seating is limited to first-come/first-served.
