Nature Stories & Crafts is an opportunity for your child to discover the wonders of Madrona Marsh through stories and hands-on science activities. Each program is planned for your child so that he/she may develop a love for nature in a caring and nurturing environment.
After each class, we suggest you take a walk in our native garden or nature preserve with your child so that they may explore nature through plants, animals, and the marsh environment through its changing seasons! Short family hikes and walks on the preserve are a good way to encourage and reinforce the nature story experience.
For children ages 2 - 5 years old. Pre-registration is required. Call (310) 782-3989 to sign up.
Nature Stories & Crafts meets every 2nd Thursday of the month! 10:30 - 11:30am Free to attend (donations accepted)! Parent participation is required.
