Babysitter Preparedness Courseis designed for youth aged 11 to 14 looking for babysitting preparedness for children ages 3 and up. The course  meets Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at THE ATTIC. The fees for Torrance residents is $90 and $100 for non-residents.  The course includes planning for a babysitting job, knowing what to expect from children of all ages, selecting toys and games, planning fun recreational activities, learning how to prevent accidents and child CPR training. Participants will receive a notebook with materials discussed in class, babysitting tote, emergency contact sheets, business cards, CPR card and a Certificate of Completion. Comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes and a sack lunch with a drink are required each day.  This program follows protocols set by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
