TOCA continues their partnership with Asano Taiko and Los Angeles Taiko Institute to bring the Art and Study of Taiko recital and concert. RECITAL Saturday December 11, 2021 – 6:00pm Instructors and students of Los Angeles Taiko Institute (LATI) housed under Asano Taiko US, present contemporary and traditionally inspired taiko repertoire in their end-of-year Recital. Performances are interspersed with explanations of the roots and context of taiko and commentary on the challenges and joys of learning Japanese drums.
