The Women Who Rocked Torrance

 In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Torrance Historical Society has invited Athena Paquette, Mortgage Advisor/Author, to highlight five women who have made a difference in the founding, direction, and growth of the city we love – Torrance!

The Women Who Rocked Torrance is both the name of the presentation and the title of the book upon which Paquette is working – featuring profiles of 30 women.

The Torrance Historical Society & Museum is open free to the public Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.  Special hours can be arranged for private tours or research. The Society has an ever growing collection of photos, documents, books, artifacts and other material relevant to the City's past.
