There is public art in the City of Torrance in publicly accessible places and in many schools managed by the Torrance Unified School District. Although Torrance does not have a formal Percent for Art policy, the City has commissioned artists for site specific work and accepted donations of artwork.

Kim Kori, Dreaming of the Kiss

Dreaming of the Kiss is a bronze sculpture of a large frog. The frog is sitting with its arms crossed looking towards the beach. It was donated by former Mayor Dan Walker to the City of Torrance in 2010 in memory of his late wife, Sandi Walker, who spent her life giving to others.
