The Social Services Commission will be holding a toiletry drive from March 4-19, 2019.

The toiletry drive will benefit organizations that serve people experiencing homelessness. 

The Commission is seeking donations of the following new, unopened and unused, full-and travel-sized items:

• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Body wash
• Bar soap
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Deodorant
• Shaving cream/lotion
• Razors
• Body wipes
• Feminine hygiene products
• Bath towels

Please note that travel-size is the size of items you would purchase for travel. We cannot accept hotel-size products.

Donation collection bins will be placed at the following locations:

• City Hall Lobby
• Human Resources/Personnel Building Lobby
• All Torrance Public Library lobbies
• Torrance Police Department Lobby
• Fire Station 1 Lobby

The donation drive will benefit four local organizations: Harbor Interfaith, Family Promise of the South Bay, 1736 Family Crisis Center, and Star Inc. Homes.
