Dear Faith Leaders and Friends,

As a reminder, please RSVP at this link for our upcoming Torrance Faith Homelessness Collaborative meeting being held next Thursday, October 27th from 3:00-4:00 pm.  Please feel free to share this link with your staff and lay leaders!

Because we meet toward the end of the month, this will be our last meeting in 2022.   We want to highlight some ways in which you can help us bring the spirit of the December holidays to our Village residents.

And as mentioned previously, we want to hear about the ways in which your congregation supports our unhoused neighbors. This might include:

• Feeding programs, grocery giveaways
• Clothing "closets" 
• Gift cards or cash assistance provided (e.g., for fast food, groceries, etc.)
• Respite daytime stays, overnight stays, short motel stays, overnight parking
• Other items collected or handmade (e.g., quilts, prayer shawls, etc.)
• Showers or other support
• Annual drives to collect items or raise funds (e.g., hunger walks) and to raise awareness
• Financial support to local South Bay or LA County nonprofits that serve the marginalized
• Spiritual counseling, companionship programs
• Prayer ministries
